Since the beginning, I knew Sweetie would have a lot of sticker-like elements. I was inspired by seeing stickers on water bottles, laptops, cars, etc owned by young women. This first iteration had a few elements, but as you will see the stickers only increased, just like a college student's water bottle over time.

Sweetie came to be because of a problem I face in my own life: lack of interesting non-alcoholic drinks to enjoy at events. After speaking to many others, I realized I’m far from the only one feeling left out. Canned mocktails would be the perfect solution, especially when they come in such stylish cans.

Sweetie is a canned mocktail brand. I designed this product for Gen Z women who do not drink alcohol, or are trying to cut back on it. Sweetie is all about having fun without having a hangover.

I began the process for Sweetie the same way I do any project. I wrote down all of my ideas and narrowed down the target audience, as well as the brand's concept. Once I had a good idea of the overall vibes, I created a wordlist.

Originally, the brand was named "SweetiePop". After drawing over 40 sketches of this name, I realized just "Sweetie" would be a better name. SweetiePop sounds too much like a soda brand.

After creating the elements for the Sweetie brand, I created this Instagram reel ad in After Effects. Hangovers may not be the vibe, but trendy promotional material surely is!
